Playing in a local game at a country club. About 19 players at two tables started the night. Game is NL Holdem. Buy in was $100 with unlimited rebuys before 8:00 PM (game started at 6:00pm). Total pot was $4,400 with winnings going 50%/30%/20% to first, second and third respectively. Fast forward to the end of the night. Final three players, I'm the chip leader and am dealt 8-2 offsuit with first action. I call the big blind (chip leader so easy to pay to see flop). The small blind calls and the big blind checks. Flop comes deuce, nine, eight. I've hit two pair. Everyone checks. Turn comes a King. Small blind bets half his stack. Big Blind calls (which is an all in call). I call. River comes a deuce and I hit a full house. Small blind goes all in... I make him on Kings or trip twos and a bluff at the turn... in either case I'm golden. I call... small blind shows trip twos, big blind shows big pair... my full house busts them both and I go home with the big $2,200 1st place pot. woohooo!
