In a seven-card, hi-low 2-4 no limit bumping declare game, was dealt a 3-7 straight flush. Thought it was solid for high and low and pumped it heavily. When the betting stopped, there were three players. To be safe, declared high only. "Straight flush," said I. "How high?" said another player. He had a Queen high straight flush in spades. Felt like a semi had mowed me down. As it was, I would have won with my low hand. That was in 1986. Remember it well.
